Back on YouTube with Cemeteries, Weed, Puppets, & MTV’s The Challenge

Slowly but surely I’ve been back to making my presence known on the Internet. It started last year with going back to TikTok commentating on The Challenge 40 last summer even though I was sick as a dog and in nervous system hell because I had too much FOMO. Then another TikTok exploded in the fall when I started talking about CPTSD. And now in 2025 I slowly begun debuting stuff on YouTube and I’m way too OCD to not knock on wood when I say this, but I think I’m back and ready to have content weekly if not multiple times a week. Wow.

Here’s what I’ve been up to this week:

First up is the second video of Creepy & Kooky where I’m NOT in a California cemetery. In late 2023 I spent some time in Tennessee with a dear friend who lives there currently and she indulged me in finding Brad Renfro’s grave. This is a shorter video for Creepy & Kooky but it is one of my favorites because a) the cemetery is gorgeous and intimate, b) the foliage is amazing and a newer look for this former southern Cali series, and c) I had such a crush on Brad Renfro when I was a kid that despite that this wasn’t exactly the “meet-cute” I had envisioned for us meeting one day, I’m honored all the same. This also marks the first video where I will be alone on camera for the foreseeable future. And yes, since this is the series that has garnered the loudest remarks about my weight I’m gonna just put this out there: I’ve gained weight since I filmed this, thank you very much.

Actual thumbnail behind the restriction. Cannabis content needs to be behind an age restriction wall- apologies but please go watch if you’re over 18!

You know what’s fun? Deciding to do a show on cannabis that’s part silly and part educational, start filming a million episodes because you’re in a new state learning about the deltas after being in a fully legal state, and then getting too sick and overwhelmed to handle the editing process as well as maintaining a posting schedule etc. Now I’m finally feeling good more days than not so it’s time to launch my weed show, High How Are You?, that also includes my Buzzkill Blvd puppets (or should I called them Buzzedkill Blvd puppets?). This show is a little ambitious with all of the puppet edits I need to do, especially since I didn’t realize some words need to be censored so the puppets will be adding euphemisms when need be. So to say I’m proud of this show for undertaking it is alone is an understatement. But there should be an episode about once a week if not twice, plus I’m already working with some cannabis companies so old (filmed a while ago) and new (filmed recently or about to be filmed) episodes will be coming down the pipe pretty consistently.

More puppets are going to be on social media and YouTube very soon. And please forgive my puppeteering and angles- I was a little rusty but it all gets better very soon.

By now I was hoping to be 2 episodes into covering The Gauntlet 3, but I am in never ending hell with editing that season. First my clips fell through. (Plus like the other series above, I was sick as hell and wasn’t exactly tackling getting said clips daily). Now I have the clips and no matter how much I alter them, they are getting dinged in copyright jail even though this video should be protected by fair use (damn, AI robots checking YouTube ::shakes fist::). ANYWAY, I thought the least I could do was upload my thoughts from TikTok regarding the cast of the upcoming MTV’s The Challenge 41st season: Vets and New Threats. Real talk: I can’t remember a time I was less excited for a new season, but you tell me in the comments if I have reasons to be wrong.

This week another new series is debuting, plus at least one High How Are You? will be released. And even more is coming both to YouTube and other social media so please check it out and follow. My Linktree is below to make it easy to follow along anywhere I Internet. Thanks for reading and have a great rest of your day!
